Health and Safety Administrator/ Waste Lead | Fixed Term Contract for 12 Months |37.5 hours a week | Southampton, Hampshire | Spire Southampton Hospital is looking to recruit a Health and Safety Administrator to support the Health and Safety Officer in coordinating and implementing the delivery of Health, Safety and Risk strategies at the facility Spire Southampton Hospital offers world-class care, attracting patients from across the South of England and internationally. Duties and responsibilities: - All administration requirements for the maintenance of the Health & Safety Management System folder. - Lead for Waste Management and waste audits (temporary/subject to review) - Collation of H&S incidents from Datix reports. Trends, near misses, etc. - Redirecting of general enquiries that are sent to the Health and Safety Officer, to members of the health and safety team as required. - To deal with telephone queries, directing calls to the appropriate H&S person, taking messages or dealing with the enquiry in a professional and efficient manner.
