Job Overview
We are excited to invite applications for the position of Remote Office Assistant. This pivotal role requires an organized and proactive individual who will be responsible for a range of administrative and clerical duties that are essential for the smooth operation of our daily activities. You will collaborate closely with site leadership and program staff, engaging in tasks such as scheduling, coordinating community health initiatives, managing transportation, and supporting outreach efforts. A strong emphasis on organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment is crucial for success in this role.
Key Responsibilities
1. Oversee general office operations, including inventory control, mail processing, and document filing.
2. Provide essential administrative support to program staff, such as scheduling and coordinating client appointments.
3. Answer and route phone calls, assist visitors, and maintain a friendly office atmosphere.
4. Organize and actively participate in community outreach events along with health education/prevention programs.
5. Prepare and manage expense reports while performing data entry tasks using the Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system.
6. Execute other assigned duties to enhance office efficiency and contribute to program success.
Required Skills
1. Strong organizational and multitasking capabilities.
2. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) with familiarity in administrative tasks like mail merges.
3. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Qualifications
1. High school diploma or GED is required.
2. Valid driver’s license is mandatory.
3. Prior experience in an administrative or office support role is preferred.
