• 37 hours per week; Term-time + 5 Staff Development Days (39 weeks)
The North School are seeking a confident and experienced Senior Science Technician to organise the technical support team and coordinate the use of practical resources and facilities within our Science Department. The successful candidate will provide assistance and advice in meeting the practical needs of the science curriculum, including liaising with teaching staff and outside organisations.
Duties will include:
• Coordinating the use of practical resources and facilities.
• Providing assistance and advice in meeting the practical needs of the science curriculum.
• Giving technical advice to teachers, technicians and students.
• Developing and improving practical activities and demonstrations.

The ideal candidate will be required to follow agreed health and safety, safeguarding and site security policies and procedures required by the school, and be able to meet the physical demands of the job, including manual handling.
