The SAP Service Line Specialist will provide deep expertise in one or more of the SAP Practice offerings supporting Cognizant’s client account teams in NA vertical markets and their account expansion plans into new markets and business areas. SLS’s are usually assigned into existing markets and also engage in new logo markets. The SAP SLS will be a “trusted advisor” to both the client and the Cognizant Client Partner blending strategic, tactical and ‘street savvy’ sales experience.

Responsibilities:
1. Drive growth in revenue by prioritization, structuring, and leading digital engagements for a $90M+ business unit and be the growth officer for the SAP Portfolio.
2. Partner with Centers of excellence and delivery organization to co-define and drive transformation strategy and service offerings across all areas of SAP that covers S/4 implementations, Customer experience solutions, application development and maintenance and upgrades.
3. Increase SAP Solution Sales and profit at our top tier clients for Cognizant SAP offerings and solutions.
4. Work with Cognizant Client Account Partners and their teams to deliver that success.
5. Lead team members engaged across various accounts and leverage the required skills from across the broader SAP organizations.
6. Map client organization, build outstanding relationships with new business units, and build a growth strategy for developing new business opportunities.
7. Build relationships through consultative/industry leading transformative led conversation with decision makers across IT and business teams in the Communications, Media, Technology, Banking Financial Services and Insurance.
8. Lead the design and implementation of digital transformation projects to enhance business processes and customer experiences.
9. Oversee the development and execution of digital strategies to drive business growth and innovation.
10. Provide technical expertise in SAP areas to ensure robust and scalable solutions.
11. Envision and build new opportunities within existing and new businesses.
12. Help account leadership and delivery leadership by highlighting risks and issues related to the engagements and support them in mitigating those. Lead client conversations for the same as needed.
13. Develop and carry out Account Growth strategy and business plans.
14. Responsible for growth, Business Development & Customer Relationship activities and support delivery transformation and fulfillment of key talent needs of the client.
15. Work in a matrix organization, enabling prospecting and other sales management goals.
16. Lead operations and maintain process and system hygiene to enable system oriented KPI’s and measurement.
17. Run end-to-end lead generation, sales, business development and RFI/RFP processes is a plus.
18. Drive growth and deliver on revenue and booking (Total Commercial Value) targets.
19. Lead/support financial and contract terms, negotiation, and outsourcing discussions.
Required Skills/Qualifications:
1. 15+ years’ experience in consultative selling of software and solutions in SAP including good experience influencing senior IT and business decision makers.
2. 8+ years’ hands-on experience working in SAP solutions in an architect or lead level role.
3. High level understanding of emerging patterns in the SAP application modernization space.
4. Defining story boards for presentations and proposals that resonate with a broad range of technical and non-technical client stakeholders.
5. Orchestrating participation of specialists/subject matter experts across a matrix organization to generate required content.
6. Editing and contributing content as required to ensure the presentations and proposals are cohesive and compelling.
Preferred Skills:
1. Industry knowledge and experience in any of the Communications, Media, Technology, Banking Financial Services and Insurance industries.
2. Training and certifications in the latest SAP skills.
