What you will do in your working day
* To ensure that the Nursery operates within the agreed aims, objectives, policies and procedures.
* To ensure you have full awareness of child protection guidelines and the Every Child Matters framework.
* To ensure equal access to services regardless of ethnicity, gender, culture, disability or lifestyle in accordance with the Children’s Centre’s Equal Opportunities policies.
* To be responsible for establishing and maintaining a safe and acceptable standard of practice that meets OFSTED criteria.
* To work as part of the team, fully participating and supporting colleagues. To attend regular supervisions and team meetings.
The training you will be getting
* Early Years Educator Level 3 award qualification.
* Successful applicants will complete 3.5 days of practical training within the Nursery setting, and half of a day per week to complete written tasks and assignments as provided by the tutor.
* Most learning will take place virtually, with some in-person assessments and written exams at the end of the course.
What to expect at the end of your apprenticeship
* Qualified Practitioner working within Early Years Settings/ Nursery.
* Early Years Teacher Training, Early Years Professional.
* Degree in Children's Development.
