Estates Officer Electrical Operations
Full-time (37.5 hours per week)

The post holder will manage the provision of electrical engineering services, ensuring that these are safe and available for their intended use and that the Isle of Wight NHS remains compliant with its statutory obligations.
To liaise with the directly employed labour electrical and mechanical trade supervisors and contractors in an efficient and effective manner to achieve Isle of Wight NHS objectives, and best value at all times.
Manage, monitor and co-ordinate operationally all electrical engineering installations, services, systems and work activities ensuring compliance with relevant current legislation, NHS guidance, health and safety, standards, codes of practice, regulations and in particular the Electricity at Work Regulations.
Advise the Operational Estates Manager on all aspects of electrical services and systems ensuring compliance that those activities are carried out in the most cost effective and efficient way either through DEL or external contract.
