As an 2nd Line IT Support Engineer, you will: Deliver exceptional support services to colleagues across the business, fostering a high level of trust and reliability. Manage and resolve tickets in the internal service desk system, escalating to technical support team members when necessary, in conjunction with working alongside our IT Managed Service Provider (MSP). Provide outstanding customer service for all support queries, ensuring user satisfaction. Maintain up-to-date asset information using the asset management tool. Configure and deploy laptops and mobile devices for new and existing staff. Arrange third-party repairs, including handling payments, shipment, and delivery/collections for users. Own and resolve service requests through to resolution within SLA, identifying areas for improvement to enhance service delivery and reduce logged requests. Maintain and continually improve team processes and documentation. The successful candidate will: Possess at least 3-4 years of experience in an IT support role, with a minimum of 18 months in 2nd line support. Have a working knowledge of Office 365, Azure, Active Directory, AD Sync, Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD), Intune Autopilot, and Endpoint Manager. A good working knowledge of networking, including patching and basic TCP/IP concepts. Demonstrate a proactive, hands-on approach to problem-solving. Exhibit excellent attention to detail. Be a self-starter with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team. Hold a full valid driving license (This role requires occasional travel to other DM offices) Have good working knowledge of Ubiquiti Networks (Desirable) Have Workday management and support experience (Desirable) Why Dalcour Maclaren?
