The Opportunity Reporting to the Procurement Leader, our Buyer will support the delivery of the local procurement objectives and will be responsible for managing a portfolio of spend / suppliers, driving compliance, value, and savings in support of local and group targets. Delivery of local savings projects and commercially aware to suggest initiatives to drive further savings. Provides support of Group and local sourcing initiatives as required. Ensuring suppliers have appropriate compliance and are measured and monitored appropriately. Preparation and support of RFP’s and negotiations. Identifying risks through the supply chain. Effective management of suppliers in agreed portfolio. Raising of Purchase Orders and local Purchase requirements. Managing Master Planning Reports. Verify requirements from automatically generated requirements for area of responsibility, potentially Drums, Chemistry, Wipes and PPE. Provide insight for budgeting and senior decision making.
