As a Floor Duty Manager, you’ll be at the heart of delivering exceptional guest experiences in our flagship venue. With 7 innovative kitchens, 2 vibrant bars, a private cocktail room (Skylark), and a stunning outdoor space perfect for seasonal pop-ups, Shelter Hall is redefining hospitality.
In this role, you’ll lead the floor operations with energy, ensuring smooth service and a welcoming atmosphere for every guest. What will you do?
* Assists the senior managers of the business with the running of the venue successfully day to day.
* Provides steady leadership presence on the floor daily - monitoring guest service, food quality and team member performance.
* Ensures exceptional service standards are consistently met and that activities are carried out effectively.
* Maintains a high level of hospitality towards guests as well as within the team.
* To remain calm, composed and in control, even in unusual situations and foster and build a positive working environment.
* To effectively handle guest complaints, compliments, concerns or special requests.
* To ensure and maintain consistent standards through day-to-day communication and on-going training.
* Build strong working relationships between the front of house and back of house.
* To ensure a safe workplace by identifying hazards and taking corrective action.
* Ensures compliance by making assigned team members complete the correct training in an appropriate time range.
* Helps with administrative duties such as staff files, stock, ordering and more.
* To ensure the highest standards of hygiene and sanitation by:
1.complying with all statutory regulations
2. ensuring that grooming standards are kept as per employee handbook
* Performs other duties as required or assigned including working in a different department or restaurant, than usually assigned.
Requirements:
* Has succeeded in perfecting appropriate floor based roles within a fast-paced hospitality venue.
* Confidence to delegate and supervise.
* An ambition to rise in the hospitality field.
* Friendly, positive attitude
* Confident speaking to new people
* Expert level of English language
* Right to work in the UK
