Job Title: Band 6 CT Specialist Radiographer
Location: Preston
Working Days: Monday to Friday (with some flexibility required)
Contract: At least 3 months
Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and competent Band 6 CT Specialist Radiographer to join our dynamic imaging team. This role requires a dedicated professional with expertise in CT imaging and a proven ability to work in a fast-paced, patient-focused environment. The successful candidate must be cannulation trained and have completed all necessary mandatory training.
Key Responsibilities:
* Perform high-quality CT scans on Siemens Definition Edge and Go All scanners, and Philips Ingenuity CT scanner.
* Ensure all imaging procedures are conducted in accordance with hospital protocols and patient safety standards.
* Demonstrate flexibility and reliability in providing clinical support to the team.
* Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to deliver excellent patient care.
* Maintain up-to-date knowledge of radiographic practices, procedures, and equipment.
Requirements:
* Competence and experience in performing CT scans, including cannulation skills.
* Relevant professional qualifications and mandatory training completed.
* Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
* Strong attention to detail, with a commitment to providing the highest standard of care.
* Flexibility in working hours and a commitment to meeting the needs of the department.
Preferred:
* Experience with Siemens Definition Edge and Go All, and Philips Ingenuity CT scanners.
