Our client is a mobile communications company with offices based in Malvern and Chester. They help businesses address their communication challenges using its market-leading business mobile messaging SaaS platform - Messenger.
They are looking for a Senior Key Account Manager to focus on key clients and to establish new business opportunities within existing client groups.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Identify and close new business opportunities by networking with client’s joint ventures, parent companies, and subsidiaries.
2. Ensure all sales opportunities are exploited thoroughly and income/turnover targets achieved, as set by the Directors.
3. Maintain responsibility for profitable business growth within client portfolio. Achieve a % year on year growth in sales for your portfolio as agreed with the Director.
4. Track and target lapsed customers, to sponsor reactivation and sales of additional credit bundles and associated services.
5. Produce high levels of quotes sent out and returned, taking into account conversion rates as well as the estimated budget towards actual spend over 12 months.
Key Skills Required:
1. Proven leadership and project management skills.
2. Proven ability in Sales and Marketing led role.
3. Ability to upsell and cross-sell from a range of products and services.
4. Comfortable compiling proposals and agreeing customer contracts.
5. A hands-on approach to problem-solving; identifying issues and using initiative and available resources to generate recommendations.
6. An ability to identify a client’s key business objectives.
7. Ability to identify and convert new business opportunities.
8. Excellent communication skills.
9. Superior computer skills and passion for data; interpreting facts and figures into opportunities.
Person Specification:
1. Due to the nature of the role, a minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar Key Account Management role is required.
2. Have an interest in emerging technologies.
3. Strong aptitude and knowledge of sales and marketing techniques.
