Key Responsibilities: Lead on the monthly preparation of the Group's Statement of Financial Position. Oversight of the Group VAT return, ensuring accountability and compliance. About The Candidate To be considered for the role of Financial Accountant, you will you will meet the essential skills and experience for a Level 2 role (please see our candidate information pack) and the following specific and experience: A CCAB qualification (ICAEW / ACCA / CIPFA / ICAS), with post qualification experience. Evidence of continuing professional development (D). Experience of maintaining nominal ledgers and implementing financial controls and procedures. Line management experience, including colleague development and motivation. Background in social housing (or a related sector), its regulatory environment and housing finance. (D) Advanced MS Excel skills and a good working knowledge of MS office. Ability to identify and challenge problems and offer solutions to resolve issues efficiently and effectively.
