Key Skills and Responsibilities of the Sales Design Consultant
1. Personally greet clients upon entry to the showroom; recommend suitable product ranges to the client as per their specification (dimensions; budget).
2. Provide clients with detailed and accurate quotations; handle payments directly from clients as well as credit/debit card payments.
3. Answer telephones and deal with any client queries.
Commercial Focus
1. Deliver store sales in line with targets; actively sell and promote the company's products at all times to excel at delivering and growing the brand in the store's local marketplace.
Customer Satisfaction
1. Ensure that customer service standards are exceptional at all times.
2. Ensure that selling skills are effective in line with customer expectations.
3. Ensure that telephone, internet leads, customer surveys, and future delivery reports are delivered in line with company guidelines.
4. Monitor all customer orders to ensure that 100% customer satisfaction is achieved (through effective backorders).
Personal Attributes
1. Excellent people skills.
2. Smart personal appearance.
3. Clear and positive communicator with good negotiation and influencing skills.
4. Relevant experience with face-to-face customer sales in a similar environment or possesses the underlying traits to fulfill this role.
Education and Qualifications
1. A good level of verbal, written, and numerical literacy.
2. Relevant experience in a similar environment would be an advantage.
3. It is essential applicants have previous sales design experience.
