Join our team as a General Construction Operative to carry out a range of construction and repairs tasks on vacant social housing
properties.
This role focuses on preparing homes for reoccupation and delivering high-quality maintenance services.

Responsibilities:
* Clear properties, including waste removal and general cleaning.
* Assist tradespeople with various tasks to ensure efficient project completion.
* Assist with the installation of kitchen units, worktops, and bathroom fixtures.
* Support plumbing, tiling, and plastering tasks as required.
* Prepare areas for work, including removing old fittings, wallpaper stripping, and basic demolition.
* Coordinate with schedulers, planners, and customer liaison officers to meet deadlines.
* Organise tasks efficiently, making the best use of time, tools, and materials.
* Adhere to all safety protocols and report any breaches or incidents.
* Ensure all work comply with health and safety standards.
* Maintain tools, equipment, and materials effectively.
* Drive company vehicles responsibly and professionally.
* Communicate effectively with team members and customers regarding repairs.
* Deliver work to high standards, ensuring properties are ready for occupancy.
Skills & Experience:
* CSCS card at appropriate level
* Full UK or EU driving license
* Experience of general labouring.
Additional Information:
