Now is a fantastic moment to join our team: we have a substantial investment fund to deploy and a mandate to make change happen you will have the opportunity to work on significant programmes of change, contributing to improved outcomes for children, young people and families across Norfolk you would be joining a strong transformation team with a great reputation, where we will invest in your development As a Programme Officer you will work with Programme Managers / Business Design and Change Managers and key stakeholders to support the definition, planning and delivery of programmes, ensuring that programme controls are in place for successful delivery of the expected benefits and outcomes. The role will initially be aligned to the Big Norfolk Holiday Fun project, which is part of the national Holiday Activity and Food (HAF) programme, however flexibility will be required to support other programmes and change activity as per changing priorities across the wider Children’s Services Strategy, Planning, and Change portfolio. With a track record of collaboration, you will work with internal and external stakeholders to support the delivery of transformational change for children, young people and families in Norfolk. Strong communication and analytical skills will be essential to enable management of programme controls and the tracking of costs and benefits. Being highly skilled in the use of excel and automation tools to support tracking, analysis and reporting will be an advantage. You will have the opportunity to develop your change management skills whilst expanding your experience, such as through being supported to manage smaller change projects. We are looking for someone with strong organisation skills, who can apply these to a programme and/or project structure, with exceptional planning and complete-finisher skills, supporting improved outcomes for children and young people.
