Role Overview:

We’re seeking a dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistant, Learning Support Assistant, or Special Educational Needs (SEN) Teaching Assistant to join our team in Leatherhead.
In this role, you will play a vital part in supporting the development of children from Early Years to Key Stage 2, working closely with teachers and staff to ensure every child receives the personalized support they need to thrive.
Key Responsibilities:
* Support in planning and delivering engaging, age-appropriate activities.
* Support students’ emotional, social, and cognitive development.
* Create an inclusive, welcoming, secure, and nurturing learning environment.
* Monitor and track student progress, maintaining accurate records.
* Contribute with teachers, parents, and staff to enhance the overall learning experience.
* Follow health and safety procedures and adhere to safeguarding policies.
* Help with the preparation of learning materials and classroom organization.
Requirements:
* Relevant qualification (Drama, Dance, Psychology, English, Sports Science, or similar).
* Previous experience in a school setting, after-school clubs, or youth clubs.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* A patient, kind, and enthusiastic attitude.
* Ability to work well within a team.
* Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
