A fantastic opportunity has arisen for senior and highly experienced Nurseto work within the RDaSH Nursing and Facilities Directorate providing responsible for providing clear, visible professional leadership and management to the nursing workforce, ensuring that appropriate national and local strategic developments are implemented.
Thisposition offers a great opportunity for a leader whose core values are to place patients at the centre of all learning and ensure approaches to workforce development and wellbeing are compassionate and high quality.
The post holder will lead for key elements of the Patient Safety Agenda across the organisation, ensuring that effective arrangements are in place for incident reporting, monitoring and learning lessons. This will include leading the development of an improved patient safety culture within the organisation placing emphasis on an open and transparent system with a focus on continuousimprovement and clinical risk management.
Responsible for horizon scanning all national, international evidence relating to clinical governance and utilise whereappropriate.
Responsible for ensuring appropriate robust systems and processes are in place in relation to ongoing registration with the CQC and other relevant regulatorybodies.
Lead the ongoing review, development and implementation of the Trusts Quality Improvement Strategy. Support the development of a strategy that promotes a culture of ownership and accountability whilst encouraging innovation & staffempowerment.
Responsible for ensuring rigorous systems and processes are in place to deliver on the Clinical Governance Agenda playing a lead role in the development of clinical practice and ongoing assurance of high standards of clinical quality, safety and experience across the organisation.
