* 85- 110 daily rate
Responsibilities of the SEMH HLTA:
* Implementing student safeguarding and welfare policies
* Assessing, reporting and giving feedback regarding students' needs and progress
* Monitoring pupils' conduct and behaviour throughout their timetable
* Collaborating with SLT to ensure high quality personal care of the students
* Promoting and encouraging independence and personal development
* Working with students on a 1:1 and group basis on education programmes
* Cooperating with colleagues, professionals and parents with education plans
This role would be well suited to anyone currently working within a school that is looking to progress in their career. The SEMH HLTA position brings the extra responsibility of:
* Providing pastoral support to support children with SEMH needs
* Delivering interventions and behaviour management strategies
* Understanding and assisting the Class teacher's curriculum and enrichment to plan, prepare, and implement different activities
* Collaborating with SENCO to tailor students' education to their individual needs
* Mentoring and providing role model guidance to new staff and less experienced TAs
