The shift pattern for this position is 5/7.
An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced Physiotherapist to join our Unscheduled Care/HUB Team in RAH supporting unscheduled care performance and improving hospital flow by working in the acute receiving wards and targeting boarders and those awaiting transfer to the older peoples services.
Key responsibilities are to provide specialist physiotherapy assessment, rehabilitation and discharge planning, MDT working, providing formal supervision to HCSW’s and students along with involvement in/leading on service and personal development.
You will be supported with regular formal supervision both 1:1 with the clinical specialist and band 6 peer supervision.
You must be patient centred, have a flexible approach to your working day, dynamic problem solver and a team player with good communication skills and be keen to participate in furthering the development of the service. It is essential you have a Diploma / Degree in Physiotherapy with current registration with the HCPC and evidence of relevant post graduate courses/ CPD. This post requires PVG Scheme Membership.
This post includes participation in a weekend service rota and on call responsibilities.
