An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Band 6 Physiotherapist to join the AHP Team at Gartnavel General Hospital on a full time, permanent basis.
As a Band 6 Physiotherapist, the post holder will be responsible for providing specialised physiotherapy services to patients on the medical wards within Gartnavel General Hospital. The post involves a complex and varied caseload incorporating patient assessment, diagnosis, treatment and discharge planning. You will be clinically responsible for support worker staff, rotational staff and students, inducting, training and managing staff on a daily basis.
It is essential that you are:
1. Educated to Diploma/Degree level in Physiotherapy while being registered with HCPC.
2. You should have significant post graduate experience with previous clinical experience in the medical speciality.
3. Can demonstrate excellent communication, prioritisation and time management skills.
You will lead/participate in service development and service change within the team. You will be actively encouraged to develop through your 4 pillars of practice while participating in CPD, audit and research. This post will be Mon-Sun and will have an oncall requirement.
