Job summary
We are currently looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Ward Clerk/Receptionist to join our Same Day Emergency Care unit (SDEC) and Short Stay Unit (SSU) in the Urgent and Emergency Care division.
* Have the ability to manage an ever-changing fast paced workload.
* Have excellent communication skills.
* Be able to manage and prioritise your workload.
* Have customer care experience.
* Have IT skills.
* A willingness to learn.
* Be able to commit to working long days and weekends.
We will provide you with a complete induction and support continuing development through yearly appraisals.
If you have the drive to provide an excellent patient experience and an enthusiasm for personal and service development within a clinical setting we are waiting to hear from you.

* Basic keyboard skills.

* Working knowledge of PAS and the NHS in general.
* Knowledge of ordering processes.

* Knowledge of 18 week pathway.

* Previous customer care and/or clerical experience.
