The Hardware Automation and validation engineer will work within a cross functional team working on “new product development” and “research and development” projects. The successful engineer will be responsible for the system integration/development and validation of all Azenta life Science store products.
* Integrating/configuring and developing system solutions which include automation and robotics equipment.
* Configure hardware and software to complete various verification tests at device level including sub-assemblies.
* Carrying out various tests from component level to full system life cycle tests, to help assess their reliability and suitability.
* Serves as the primary technical interface (automation and validation specialist) within a cross functional development team, providing support to Mechanical, Electrical, Manufacturing and Software departments.
* Support and validates any quality investigations.
* Work within a team or under their own initiate.
* Create/ maintain engineering documentation of test results for analysis.
* Defining processes and test procedures.

Occasional international site travel maybe required for training, investigation or support, very infrequent
