About the Science Faculty:
The Science Faculty at The Hart School is dedicated to fostering a passion for discovery and innovation among students. Our team of experienced and enthusiastic teachers have developed a robust curriculum with a strong foundation in excelling teaching and learning. The faculty is supported by skilled technicians, who ensure that our recently refurbished science laboratories are well-equipped and maintained to the highest standards. We offer a comprehensive curriculum that encourages critical thinking and hands-on learning, preparing students for future scientific endeavours.
About You:
As a Deputy Director of Faculty at The Hart School, you will bring visionary leadership, a passion for educational excellence, and a commitment to fostering an inclusive and dynamic learning environment. Our ideal candidate would:
· Have a strong sense of direction and the ability to inspire and motivate a team towards achieving shared goals.
· Have effective communication skills, the ability to clearly articulate ideas, provide constructive feedback and foster open dialogue among colleagues, students and parents.
· Be an excellent and reflective classroom practitioner.
· Preferably be a Chemistry specialist with experience teaching Chemistry at GCSE Separate Science to higher tier and/or A Level Chemistry.
Requirements:

· Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
· Experience in teaching all key stages
· Recent and relevant Continuous Professional Development (CPD) and further management training.
