To ensure the smooth and efficient running and supervision of site activities. Ensuring the safe and optimal operation of all plant, equipment and people, whilst delivering an excellent service to both internal and external customers.
Key Responsibilities
* Supervising various operational activities ensuring compliance with all Safe Systems of Work, including risk assessments and method statements
* Ensuring all operations carried out comply with all current HSQE legislation and company management systems and policies, whilst promoting safe working practices to minimise accidents and incidents
* Conducting inspections and maintaining records
* Ensuring productivity is maximised at all times, communicating any issues to management
* Completing inductions, activity briefings, toolbox talks and keeping records
* Housekeeping to ensure that the facilities are kept clean, tidy and free of trip hazards and that the site remains secure during operations and at the end of shifts
* Ensuring plant inspections are completed on time and that all defects have been reported
What we’re looking for
* Experience in supervising waste management and plant operations
* Knowledge and understanding of all relevant health and safety, environmental and planning regulations
* Planning and organisation skills
* Effective communication and teamwork skills with the ability to work under pressure
* Ability to utilise a range of software including the MS office suite.
* First Aid Certificate (4 day)
* Fire Marshall
* Full UK driving licence
