Lentells is an accountancy practice who employ over 80 staff members across 3 offices in Devon and Somerset. We are now looking to recruit for a portfolio manager to join our team, with the opportunity to work in any of our offices.

The main duties of this role include:
* Responsible for managing a portfolio of clients. Lentells managers deal with a mixed portfolio, specialising in Medical (approx. 80% GP Practice).
* Supporting the Directors with providing a range of accounting and tax services to our varied portfolio of clients.
* You will ensure that our clients' expectations are met in a timely and efficient manner.
* Being the main contact to our clients on a day-to-day basis.
* Being responsible for mentoring and training junior staff members.
The ideal candidate will have:
* At least 3 years of practice experience (recent preferable), and be proficient in accounts (not audit or tax only).
* Managed their own portfolio; independently producing accounts and dealing with clients directly (start to finish).
* ACCA/ACA Qualification is desirable but not essential. If not qualified, must have the proven experience above.
* Knowledge/experience of medical a distinct advantage.
* Experience of training junior staff/managing a team is an advantage.

Please note, unlike many other accountancy practices, Lentells Limited pay overtime if/when business needs arise. Overtime can be taken as cash or accrued as Time Off In Lieu (TOIL). TOIL can be used as a way of increasing holiday entitlement.
