We’re looking for a talented all-round Freelance Graphic Designer who can deliver first class design solutions for all the marketing communications of a fun and fast-paced online arts and crafts company.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Graphic Designer with bags of creative flair to expand their skill set across a wide range of disciplines, from the creation of digital assets and landing pages for web, social media and email marketing to the design and formatting of catalogue layouts and packaging. You’ll be working in our offices in Harlow Essex, must drive due to location, 3-4 days a week with the potential to transition into a full-time permanent role.

Core responsibilities
· Design assets for website, emails campaigns, social media campaigns and other digital media
· Artworking and design of all printed literature such as catalogues, inserts, flyers and adverts
· Creating designs and artwork for packaging for the full and ever-growing portfolio of products
· Updating and reworking existing artwork and designs
· Photoshop work creating web and email assets
· Image editing for Amazon
· Resizing and applying creative across multiple formats
· Video editing and animation an advantage
Experience required
· A Graphic Design Degree or equivalent
· At least 2 years + proven in-house experience in a similar role
· Portfolio showcasing strong creative skills and digital design projects
· Ideally from an e-commerce background
· An excellent knowledge of Creative Suite applications (we use CC) in a Mac based environment
· Excellent layout and typography skills
· Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal
· Image retouching skills in Photoshop, including colour corrections and cut outs
· High levels of accuracy with meticulous attention to detail
· Able to work to tight deadlines and fast turn-arounds
· A love of photomontages
· Knowledge of style sheets, parent pages and working to brand guidelines
· Video editing and animation an advantage using Premier Pro and Canva
· Ability to work as a team and independently
· A desire and willingness to learn with a can-do attitude

We are based in Harlow, Essex and are not close to public transport, you will need to be a car driver and have your transport.
Salary: negotiable, according to experience
Hours: 3-4 days per week between Mon – Fri 8.15am – 4.45 pm
