Job Duties:
* Plan, prepare and deliver engaging food technology lessons to students.
* Develop and implement curriculum and lesson plans following the national guidelines.
* Assess and evaluate students' progress and provide constructive feedback.
* Manage classroom activities and maintain a positive learning environment.
* Supervise practical cooking sessions and ensure health and safety standards are met.
Required Qualifications:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
* Degree in Food Technology or related field.
* Knowledge of the national curriculum for food technology.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Education: Degree in Food Technology or related field
Experience: Previous experience teaching food technology is desirable
Knowledge and Skills:
* Understanding of food safety and hygiene practices.
* Ability to inspire and engage students in practical cooking activities.
* Strong organisational and time management skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
* Experience working with diverse student populations.
Working Conditions:
* Full-time position with standard school hours.
* Classroom-based teaching with some practical cooking sessions.
* Collaboration with colleagues and participation in school events.
