An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Art Lecturer within the General Education department at Cardiff and Vale College on a fixed term contract to cover maternity. The successful appointment will be responsible for the teaching of A Level Art and may also deliver parts of ancillary qualifications such as the Advanced Skills Baccalaureate Wales.
The successful candidate will be responsible for subject planning, delivery, and assessment, ensuring a positive and value-driven experience for learners in line with the CAVC mission of transforming lives by unlocking potential and developing skills. We are looking for a passionate, committed teaching professional who can deliver teaching excellence and actively participate in CAVC life.
You will also possess a teacher training qualification or be willing to work towards one and have a relevant degree. The ability to communicate via the medium of Welsh is desirable for this role.
