Learning Support Assistant Year 1 (Autism Support)

Salary: Competitive, based on experience
Contract: Full-time, Temporary (ASAP Start)
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to join a welcoming primary school in Hemel Hempstead, starting ASAP. This role will involve providing 1:1 support to a Year 1 student with Autism, helping them to engage with their learning and thrive in the classroom environment.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Provide tailored support to a Year 1 student with Autism, helping them to access the curriculum.
2. Assist with the development of communication and social skills in a supportive environment.
3. Help manage the classroom, ensuring that all students are supported and engaged.
4. Work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to implement personalized learning strategies.
5. Foster an inclusive, positive, and nurturing environment for all students.
