TheMedia Planning team sites within our Commercial Operations division working across all brands in the Hearst portfolio. The team are responsible for managing print flat plans for all Hearst brands, working closely with Account Directors and Client Partners to respond to brief and produce media plans as well as booking on all advertising campaigns sold.
ABOUT THE ROLE
The Senior Media Planning Executive will be responsible for inputting all commercial campaigns (print/digital/partnership/event sponsorship & accreditation orders) into our booking system and ensure attention to detail is paramount. Working closely with internal teams, you will be responsible to liaise with them, ensuring all campaign intricacies and requests are clear; and the bookings have the correct booking details provided to you by relevant commercial teams.
Collaboration and communication is essential across multiple stakeholders inclusive of delivery teams, and you will be required to support them for assistance in campaign bookings and ensure that the correct booking details have also been agreed with them prior to actioning.
You will also be responsible for IO management and query resolution, supporting your key stakeholders managing the incoming IOs and any queries. You will be the primary contact for finance on bookings/PO documentation and work with this team to meet the KPIs for invoicing.
Monitoring monthly reports, ensuring outstanding campaigns are progressing through the booking process and ensuring the accuracy of revenue is reflected accordingly.
The senior role requires you to demonstrate a high level of knowledge, competency, and high-level stakeholder management across the business. You will be expected to be an expert in your field, be seen as the go to person relating to bookings and provide support and expertise to your colleagues and stakeholders. You will be seen as a person who is trusted and can be counted on to provide the business support that is needed and take on responsibility for additional duties where needed.
The SMPE has a strong connection to anyone close to planning and booking print, digital and accreditation campaigns. Including but not exclusive to - Account Directors, Finance, Yield, Business Systems, Project Managers, Technical Account Managers & Commercial. Your relationships should span across all levels of stakeholders including the SLT and ELT where necessary.
ABOUT YOU
