Job Title: Business to Business Sales
Location: Aldridge
Hours: 09:00-17:00 Monday-Friday
Pay: Negotiable
Contract: Permanent
Our client is currently looking for an enthusiastic B2B Salesperson to join their team and contribute to generating sales for their company. You will be responsible for managing customer accounts and processing sales orders as well as building and maintaining good customer relationships.
You must be an excellent communicator with strong people skills and must be comfortable presenting products or services over the phone as well as in person. This will be office-based for the majority but with occasional on-the-road days to visit customers and chase up leads.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Following up warm leads and new customer registrations
2. Approaching businesses in the sector to introduce the company and try to secure their custom
3. Answering questions about products or the company
4. Asking questions to understand customer requirements
5. Contacting warm leads to enquire about potential orders and maintain relationships
6. Going the “extra mile” to meet customer requirements and sales targets
7. Keeping records of calls and sales and noting useful information
8. Attending trade shows to network, meet customers and gather new business leads
Key Requirements:
1. Proven experience in a B2B sales role, including visiting customers on the road
2. Preferably worked in the furniture wholesaler industry previously
3. Computer literate and able to learn/work with relevant computer programs (e.g., CRM software and telephone systems)
4. Experience in Sage 200 software is advantageous
5. Ability to learn about products and services and describe/explain them to customers
6. Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken, in order to develop customer relationships
7. Able to work in a fast-paced environment, both independently and as part of a team
8. Outstanding interpersonal skills with the ability to resolve issues and address complaints
