Hays are working exclusively with a dynamic and rapidly growing business in Telford who are looking for an Accounts Assistant to join their team and grow with the Business
Your new role
You will be working closely with the senior management team and taking responsibility for the Accounts function and liaising with firm of Accountants.
Duties will include:
1. Purchase Ledger - processing invoices, reconciling statements, resolving supplier queries and preparing payment runs for approval
2. Sales Ledger - Post and allocate cash
3. Credit Control - Chasing outstanding debts, building rapport with clients, credit checks, credit limits and stop lists
4. Additional duties as required
5. Using Sage and Excel
What you'll need to succeed
You should be highly experienced on purchase / sales ledger and credit control and ideally have used Sage. You should have a "can do" approach and keen to help out within the organisation with any additional duties. You should want to work for a growing business and develop yourself and your skills in line with that business
