Red Rock Partnership Limited are delighted to be working with our prestigious client in South Leeds who specialise in the development, manufacture and sale of industrial paints. They are now looking for a Warehouse Operator to join their busy and expanding team. Reporting to the Customer Service and Logistics Manager, the Warehouse Operator is to ensure that the unloading, storage, picking, packing, loading and despatch of finished goods is carried out in a timely and safe manner. Roles and Responsibilities: · Check material against supplier’s documentation and purchase order and register in SAP. · Unload deliveries from vehicles. · Produce and attach pallet label indicating order number, delivery date, quantity, product number and description for all daily shipments · Health and safety competent · Place delivered stock in appropriate pallet location in the correct Warehouse. · Report low stock items to the Materials Controller. · Report any nonconforming items to the Materials Controller and Quality Departments by using the Supplier Non-Conformance forms. · Generate Picking Lists and delivery notes using the companies SAP system. · Accurately pick orders from stock and prepare them for despatch using the FIFO principal. · Check that the correct products are picked against customer requirements and cross referenced against the SAP Pick List. · Ensure that all finished goods are packed correctly so as to avoid damage during transportation to the customer. · Ensure that general housekeeping is maintained to a high standard and that waste is kept to a minimum. · Load all vehicles arriving to collect goods. · Ensure that drivers arriving to collect goods have the correct paperwork to collect the required goods, paying particular attention to drivers who report to collect goods of a hazardous nature (ADR). · Monitor stock of pallets both Euro and Standard and reorder as required. About you: · Minimum: At lest 1 year of warehouse experience · Experience in SAP is highly regarded · Warehouse handling equipment · Ability to work autonomously · Responsible · Good communicator on all levels · Strong work ethic · Valid RTITB Forklift Licence The role is Monday to Friday 9am to 1pm. Its 25days holiday plus bank holidays. Shut down over the Christmas period. There will be the occasional requirement to work full time hours to cover annual leave of other staff. The salary is £25,725 per year pro rata - 20 hours per week £12,862 per year Salary. This is an excellent opportunity to join a progressive business who invest in people.
