An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Audit Senior with 3 years audit and team management experience to join a well-established accountancy firm. This role offers excellent benefits, hybrid working option and a competitive salary.
As an Audit Senior, you will oversee audits, guide junior staff, and manage a variety of client accounts, ensuring all work is completed within deadlines and budgets.
You will be responsible for:
1. Provide guidance and ensure the adoption of appropriate accounting practices in the production of financial information.
2. Prepare statutory financial statements for limited companies, as well as accounts for partnerships and sole traders.
3. Oversee and support junior staff, ensuring effective team management and development.
4. Liaise with clients and HMRC, maintaining and developing strong client relationships through written communication and face-to-face meetings.
5. Manage client portfolios and handle ad hoc duties in line with business requirements.
What we are looking for:
1. Previously worked as an Audit Senior, Audit Supervisor, Audit Semi Senior or in a similar role.
2. At least 3 years audit and team management experience in a UK accountancy practice.
3. Background in delivering of external audit and accounting services.
4. ACA or ACCA qualified, or an exceptional finalist.
5. Excellent analytical and research skills.
6. Skilled in ProAudit, Sage Accounts Production and Xero would be preferred.
