Unlock Your Potential as a Continuous Improvement Engineer – HIP Europe About the Role As a Continuous Improvement Engineer, you will play a key role in enhancing safety, environmental, and operational performance across our six Specialist Technology (HIP Europe) facilities. Your mission is to develop and implement systems for equipment data gathering, analysis, and drive measurable improvements in efficiency, reliability, safety and sustainability. Key Responsibilities Introduce engineering initiatives to drive compliance to world-class Environment and Health & Safety standards with support from HIP EHS management. Identify risks to safe, repeatable, and reliable equipment operation, and drive improvements using risk assessment techniques such as FMEA and HAZOP. Implement best-practice systems for measuring overall equipment effectiveness (OEE) and monitoring performance. Manage and execute small to medium-sized upgrade projects to improve HIP vessels, supporting equipment, and processes. Develop and implement condition monitoring strategies to reduce downtime and unplanned disruption. Utilize data-driven systems to monitor energy and gas usage, coordinating efforts to achieve environmental targets. Establish and maintain best engineering practices in health and safety, environmental management, and operational control. What We’re Looking For 5 years of experience in Continuous Improvement, Process Engineering, or Manufacturing Engineering. Degree (BEng or equivalent) in Engineering or a related field. Strong analytical skills with the ability to use data for problem-solving and decision-making. Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, and Industry 4.0 methodologies. Technical mindset with an understanding of IoT applications & industrial equipment. Self-motivated and proactive, capable of leading projects independently. Strong stakeholder management, influencing, and collaboration skills. Nice to Have: Six Sigma Certification (Green Belt or higher). Experience with control systems and industrial processing. Multilingual skills (English required; German, French is a plus).
