Job summary We are looking for Healthcare Support Worker to join our team at University Hospital Coventry & Warwickshire. Under supervision, will support trained staff in providing optimum patient care, ensuring adherence to Trust policy at all times. Main duties of the job Responsible for own actions, ensuring all patient interactions/observations are communicated to the appropriate healthcare practitioner Undertake agreed clinical and non-clinical tasks, extending range following training in defined practices. Ensure referral to the appropriate healthcare practitioner where appropriate Demonstrate technical and/or practical skills to ensure optimum patient management e.g cannulation/ECG where agreed Organise own daily workload e.g use and cleaning of identified medical and non-medical equipment (beds, hoists etc).
