Delivery Driver Location: Tamworth We deliver almost anything virtually anywhere in the world at UPS. Every package that comes into our care is on a journey. What you’ll get: · A company pension scheme, holiday pay, discounts at major retailers (e.g. Apple, cinemas) and attractions (e.g. Alton Towers, The London Eye) and many more benefits. · Full time 40 hours per week from Tuesday to Saturday, plus overtime. · Hourly rate starting at £14.21 per hour - rising to £17.48 depending on length of service and license held. · Overtime paid at a higher rate. · Full training. · Promotion from within policy · Life Assurance · Employee Assistance Program · Full UPS brown uniform What you’ll do: · Deliver and collect packages to and from our customers. · Learn and properly execute UPS safe driving methods. · Comply with UPS appearance guidelines. · Excellent customer contact and driving skills. · Meets local age and operations requirements to operate a vehicle. · Availability to work 5 days per week, Tuesday to Saturday start times between 7.30 AM to 4.30 PM. What you’ll need: · C1 or B driving licence category (7.5t) held for a minimum of 2 years. · Experience with multidrop deliveries · Clean driving licence. · Flexibility to work overtime when required. · Ability to lift up to 70 lbs./32 kgs. · Self motivated and excellent time management skills. · Be able to work in a fast paced environment. · Problem solving and planning skills.
