The Centre for Health, Activity and Rehabilitation Research (CHEARR) at Queen Margaret University is seeking a Research Fellow to contribute to conducting a research project.
This project focuses on further development and feasibility testing of an innovative medical device: footwear for foot drop. This aims to help people with foot drop for a variety of neurological and musculoskeletal reasons to walk more safely and confidently. The project involves development of manufactured sample footwear and a feasibility study, analysis of where in the care pathway this could be implemented, and development of NHS collaborations to support further work. This project will lay the foundations for launching the footwear and progressing towards potential NHS adoption.
This project has been funded by the National Institute of Health Research.
