Our leading Financial Services Sector Client is continuing a high growth trajectory, coupled with an ambitious transformation programme are now seeking a Senior Administrator to join the Asset Reconciliation team on a 12-month fixed term contract.
As Senior Administrator you will act as an integral part of the team responsible for accurately reconciling all security positions held with the Global Custodian and Fund Managers across multiple systems on a monthly, quarterly and bi-annual basis. The key focus is on investigating and resolving any unit holding discrepancies by liaising with internal teams and external Fund Managers. A key responsibility for the team is to ensure the asset book accurately reflects values for financial reporting statements. Specific responsibilities will include:
* Progress asset reconciliations in accordance with local procedures and guidelines
* Liaise with fund houses and other relevant parties to chase outstanding documents or information to progress asset reconciliation
* Liaise with appropriate internal technical authorities to resolve queries raised to the team
* Participate in continuous improvement activities to improve the timeliness, quality and effectiveness of the team
* Ensure personal statistics are up to date and accurate
* Ensure that all work is undertaken in a timely way in compliance with service standards and customer expectations
* Liaise with internal business partners to ensure that the team's work is compliant with policies and requirements and ensure work queues are cleared within target timescales
* Ensure all processes are performed to a high-quality standard and are regularly monitored
* Focus on developing, implementing and sharing best practices
* Accountable for processing all asset reconciliations within the permitted timescales, escalating concerns, and providing recommended solutions
* Communicating positively with the team
* Regular analysis of your own data from Ability 6 & quality monitoring, capacity planning
* Ensure key risks which are identified through quality and complaints root cause analysis (RCA) are included in risk framework and plan for mitigation of these risks
The ideal candidate for the role of Senior Administrator will have:
* Previous Life office experience is desirable but not essential
