Salary: Ranging from Intermediate developer to senior experienced. Competitive + 3% flexible benefits + on target bonus of 5%, contributory pension.
This large European group are now looking for a BI Developer to join their growing team.
You’ll be responsible for:
Development of new business intelligence across all business functions through BI toolDevelopment of business intelligence in line with full BI lifecyclePresent technical BI to non-technical business stakeholdersWork closely with business stakeholders in delivering business reporting requirementsAd-hoc analysis/reporting as required by Directors and Business functionsSupport the delivery and streamlining of BAU within the teamProducing robust BI documentationSupport significant data migration projectsAbility to adapt & change reporting requirements to suit business needsAbility to work in a fast paced environment and manage / prioritise workloadYou’ll need to evidence the following qualifications, skills and experience:ExperienceExperience of producing reporting and BI through Qlikview or similar BI toolsAbility to interpret data to provide insight and direction based on findingsExperience of designing data structures (dimensional / star schemas) and optimising performanceAble to prioritise multiple tasks and work under pressure for senior business peopleExperience working with complex data structures
Qualifications
Business/Numerical Honours degree or QBE or equivalent
Essential Skills
Effective communicator with good organisational skillsAdvanced Microsoft office skills (Excel, Power Point, etc)Experience of presenting technical information to non-technical stakeholdersTechnical ExperienceExcellent knowledge of SQL ServerFull BI Stack preferable (SSRS, SSAS, SSIS)Ability to support the development of ETL processesStrong knowledge of relational databasesDesign and development of physical & logical data modelsExperience and knowledge of dimensional data modellingKnowledge of Kimball Methodology and data warehousingData migration skillsGood understanding of BI development life cycleExperience with enterprise BI tools (Qlik, SAP, Microstrategy, Tableau, Other)
