What you would do as our Technical Support Specialist Sectional Doors UK & Ireland As our Technical Support Specialist you will be responsible for providing technical assistance and field support to our OHSD partners based in the UK. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who has an expertise in sectional doors with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to effectively communicate technical information to diverse audiences. You would also: • Provide technical support and assistance to partners in the indirect business segment regarding the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of sectional doors. • Serve as a subject matter expert on our sectional door products, specifications, and installation procedures, and provide guidance and recommendations to partners as needed. • Deliver technical training programs and materials for partners to enhance their product knowledge, installation skills, and troubleshooting capabilities. • Act as a liaison between partners and internal departments including sales, product development, and quality assurance to ensure effective communication and resolution of technical issues. • Stay up to date on industry trends, advancements in sectional door technology, and relevant standards to provide informed technical guidance and support to partners. The skills and experience you need We are looking for someone who: • Has experience in a technical support and/or field installation of industrial products in a B2B environment. • Has experience in technical product support, especially in construction or building materials industry within a B2B market. Knowledge of sectional doors or/and docking products will be a huge plus. • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot technical issues effectively, both remotely and in the field. • Ability to communicate with people from different levels, both internally and externally, with excellent listening and teaching skills. • Is autonomous and flexible with effective planning skills.
