Portico are on the lookout for a charismatic and customer-focused Ground Floor Receptionist for a multi-occupied corporate building in Guildford.
The building offers low carbon, energy efficient office and lab-enabled space, set in 70 acres of green landscaped grounds. Situated at the forefront of Surrey Research Park - a major centre of excellence for technology, science, health and engineering businesses - the building benefits from great transport links, wellness amenities and a vibrant town centre just minutes away.
The Receptionist will “own” the ground floor reception space, ensuring that all visitors receive a top-class service.
The Receptionist serves as the first point of contact for staff and visitors, providing a friendly meet and greet, intuitive concierge service, handling incoming and outgoing mail efficiently, and swiftly raising helpdesk requests.
In addition to this, they will strive to innovate the building's facilities and services to improve our contract value, and ensure reception operational manuals are up-to-date and relevant.
The Receptionist will work in partnership with all service partners to establish service excellence within the entire building.
Shift pattern: 37.5 hours per week, shifts are 8:30am-5pm, from Monday-Friday
Salary: £26,317
Qualifications
The Receptionist will be passionate and possess an innate ability to build rapport with guests, clients, and stakeholders alike. They will have excellent communication skills, an ability to prioritise tasks effectively, and remain flexible and adaptable to proactively change their priorities.
Customer service experience is essential, preferably within a similar role and environment.
This is a stand-alone reception role. So, the successful candidate must be comfortable being the sole Portico team member on site, whilst being a part of a larger team within the portfolio.
