About the Role
* Client Relations and Service Excellence
o Build and maintain strong relationships with senior stakeholders and employees, acting as the main contact for catering services.
o Ensure exceptional service delivery by promoting Sodexo as a first-class provider and aligning team efforts to client and customer needs.
* Team Leadership and Development
o Lead and motivate teams to achieve high performance standards, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and service excellence.
o Ensure comprehensive training plans for all team members, providing regular coaching and professional development opportunities.
* Operational Efficiency
o Take full ownership of catering operations, ensuring compliance with company policies and optimizing service through proactive contingency planning.
o Develop and implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for catering services, continuously improving operational standards.
* Financial Management
o Monitor financial activities to maximize profit, control costs, and ensure all expenditures align with budgeted levels and policies.
o Analyze gross profits, menu costs, and operational expenses to drive efficiency and improve profitability.
* Safety and Compliance
o Prioritize Health & Safety, leading training on statutory and client-specific requirements such as food safety and fire safety.
o Conduct regular audits and spot checks, ensuring adherence to safety standards and a zero-harm mindset across teams.
What We’re Looking For
* Financial Acumen and P&L Management
o Skilled in gathering, utilizing, and interpreting financial information to achieve commercial success within a profit and loss (P&L) contract.
* Interpersonal and Leadership Skills
o Proven ability to communicate effectively and build long-term relationships at all levels, alongside demonstrated leadership in managing large, diverse teams and fostering new workplace cultures.
* Operational Expertise
o Over five years of experience managing complex BOH and FOH catering operations within large-scale venues, including kitchens, hospitality, restaurants, and cafes.
* Customer-Centric and Innovative Approach
o Strong focus on delivering exceptional customer service and crafting meaningful visitor experiences, supported by proactive research into industry trends and food innovations.
* Organizational and Safety Standards
o Excellent planning and organizational skills to manage shifting priorities while enforcing safety standards, holding teams accountable, and driving performance improvements.
