We are a small team responsible for procuring and managing several contracts for our corporate estate and schools. We are looking for someone who can take on the monitoring of these various contracts and assist our support Officers when required. We need you to be out and about, on a daily basis and you must have your own car available. There will be a mileage allowance. Your primary role will be to monitor the Cleaning, Catering, and Grounds Maintenance contracts. About You You will need to have to have excellent attention to detail and to be well organised and self motivated to ensure our contract service levels are maintained. We need you to have great communication skills to achieve the best outcomes when visiting sites and monitoring standards. Great ICT skills are essential as we use a wide variety of packages including Microsoft 365 and our own database for monitoring.Someone friendly, able to challenge and resolve issues and maintain a good relationship with our clients and contractors. You must be focused and able to work alone.Whilst there will be specific training available for the role, we expect you to have some experience in either grounds, cleaning or catering and ideally contract monitoring. About Us You will be based from home but will be required to attend sites daily and meetings when necessary. The job is term time only, and working hours are between 10.00am and 3.00pm. There is some flexibility, but you will be required to monitor a kitchen each day over the lunchtime period.
