Job Profile
As a Conveyancing Solicitor, you will manage a varied caseload of residential property transactions from instruction to completion. This role will involve direct client contact and the opportunity to provide expert legal advice on all aspects of the conveyancing process. The ideal candidate will demonstrate the ability to work independently, while delivering high-quality legal services in a timely and efficient manner.
Duties:
o Manage all aspects of residential property transactions, from initial instruction to completion.
o Provide expert legal advice to clients on a wide range of conveyancing matters, including property sales, purchases, and transfers.
o Liaise effectively with clients, estate agents, lenders, and other legal professionals to ensure smooth transactions.
o Prepare and review contracts, title deeds, and other legal documentation for residential property transactions.
o Ensure compliance with Scottish property laws and regulations throughout the conveyancing process.
o Build and maintain strong client relationships, providing tailored advice and maintaining high standards of client care.
o Prioritise and manage a varied workload efficiently, while working within established firm procedures and systems.
Skills & Experience:
o Qualified Conveyancing Solicitor, ideally with 5 years' PQE.
o Experience in Scots Law and handling residential conveyancing transactions is essential.
o Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
o Ability to manage your workload effectively and work independently.
o Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with Case Management Systems is desirable.
o A proactive approach with a strong attention to detail.
Hours of Work:
o 35 hours per week
o Monday to Friday
o 09:00 to 17:15
