A client of ours in the Bury St Edmunds area are recruiting a Technical Publications Assistant to join their team. This is a full-time permanent position working a 39-hour week Monday - Friday (open to part-time candidates) and paying £26,000 - £30,000 per annum depending on experience.
Key Duties include but are not limited to:
Create and maintain part manuals and assembly instructions.
Updating manuals on the company website.
Translate CAD models and drawings into graphics.
Support the design team with CAD detailing.
Skills and Experience required to be considered for this Technical Publications Assistant position:
Experience in using Adobe Creative Suite, MS office suite and ERP systems.
Experience with 3D CAD programs desirable.
Strong communication skills, written and verbal.
High attention to detail.
Design and Creative or Engineering experience or qualification.
Previous experience in producing manuals/guides would be advantageous.
