Change Recruitment are delighted to be assisting a greatly respected logistics business based in Bridgwater looking to add a Payroll Assistant to their HR team. The main focus of this role will be to look after the benefits processes, as well as supporting all round payroll services as required. As such you will need to have experience in processing company payroll.Duties include: Running one of the company payrolls from start to finish including all query management Assisting employees with payroll and benefit issues, enrolment, qualifying schemes, and questions. Coordinating daily benefits processing, including enrolments, file uploads and claims. Advising and informing employees of the details of the company's benefit schemes. Resolving benefit-related issues and responding to queries and requests in a timely manner. Assist with researching new employee benefit schemes. Serving as the primary contact for benefit schemes and third-party administrators. Ensure that all employee-related documentation required for payroll and benefit payments processing is in place. Be passionate about continuous improvement and actively seeking opportunities for more effective ways of working. You will ideally have a payroll or HR qualification, as well as experience working within and supporting a payroll function.
