How you'll make a difference
As a Planning Enforcement Officer, you will make a difference by making South Gloucestershire a safe place to live, visit, and work in. Working as part of a team, you will play a key role in contributing towards a high-quality built environment for the enjoyment of all residents and visitors.
What you will be doing
* Manage 60 – 80 case assignments at all levels of complexity, working towards effective and efficient solutions.
* Involved in work ranging from pre-application to post decision.
* Respond to a range of internal and external enquiries, delivering a high-quality service.
* Conduct field visits for further investigation of alleged breaches of planning control.
* Display decisive decision-making in complex or unprecedented situations.
What we need from you
* Must have a full, valid driving licence with regular access to a vehicle or have an alternative means of travel.
* This role is hybrid, with a mixture of working at our office in Yate, at home, and within the community.
Interviews are scheduled for the 11th and 12th of March 2025.
