Vision for Education are looking for an experienced and committed Key Stage 2 Teaching Assistant for a full time role beginning in January 2024. This role will start as a long term supply contract, going up until Easter and then will go permanent. About the role This role will be working in the Key stage 2 department and will involve working in small groups and as a general TA supporting the class teacher. About the school This primary school prioritises the families and children for them to have the best start in lives, not only helping them learn but to progress in learning but also areas outside of education such as performing arts and music as they believe all areas of expertise should be highlighted. The successful candidate will be able to engage with the class and promote a growth mindset to young pupils whilst facing challenges in learning. Requirements To be considered for the role of Teaching Assistant you will: To have experience working as a Teaching Assistant preferably in KS2 To have experience working with children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities To be caring, supportive and have a pastoral approach to supporting children in their learning Vision for Education is committed to safeguarding children, young people and vulnerable adults.
