We have two vacancies, Friday and Saturday 17.30 – 23.30 and Wednesday, Thursday, Friday 15.30 – 20.00, hours to be discussed at interview; may be open to rearrange shifts.
You will be the first face of the Urgent Treatment Centre, you will register patients onto the system as they begin their journey through the UTC.
• Registration and care of patients at reception, general office duties including filing, scanning, making appointments, admitting patients, dealing with telephone enquiries, using computers and different systems. Liaising with clinical staff on the department, within the hospital and with other agencies.
• Maintain responsibility for office tasks/general maintenance/tidiness of the office while on duty. Behave in a professional and confidential manner.
• Use of computers and multiple systems an essential part of the role.
• Must be able to work in an often stressful environment and under own initiative.
• Must be able to work as part of a team and also singlehandedly. Maintain confidentiality and abide by NCA Trust policies.
