TRIbuild Solution are looking for an experienced Sub Agent to work for our client on the Projects Team on their North West Contract. You will be part of a team that have been delivering drainage improvement works for National Highways schemes. Key Duties & Responsibilities: Manage and supervise a wide range of highway-based projects on-site ensuring work is carried out safely, on time, within budget and in accordance with the HSEQ standards Be responsible for day-to-day management of site tasks and work as part of a team. Aid the site agent / project manager with the development of the construction programmes and methodology utilising existing knowledge & experience and through engagement with Key Supply Chain. Monitor site activities against target programmes reporting exceptions in outputs, delays etc Aid the site agent / project manager with the creation of the Construction Phase Plans, method statements and ensure safe systems of work are in-place before work is started and that required safety standards are maintained at all times. Manage all risks effectively on site and ensure adherence to risk management processes. Ensure in-house and subcontract personnel are competent and fully trained to undertake their work. Liaise with commercial team, designers and site teams to manage changes identified on site. Fully engage with the commercial team members to ensure the project commercial procedures are followed. Attend client meetings to provide them with a delivery update and manage any adverse issues Able to supervise night operations when required and provide a report to the Site Agent / Project Manager at the end of the shift Carryout site inductions, toolbox talks and briefings to site operatives Ensure adequate records are maintained through photographs, site diaries and as built drawings Carry out a public facing communication role on the project which includes attending Public Liaison meetings, communication with and keeping a log of public communications, interfacing with the Client customer liaison team. Communicate effectively with the Site Team and Engineer to ensure the works are planned in a timely manner in line with the agreed programme. Be willing to work nights and/or away from home for short periods were required. Essential Skills: Possession of SSSTS or SMSTS CSCS (supervisor card) Driving licence Minimum 5 years’ experience of supervising Highway improvement and public realm work. New Roads and Street Works (NRSWA) Operative or Supervisors Accreditation preferable A practical understanding of health and safety management and the requirements of CDM. Have working knowledge of a proprietary planning package. A working knowledge of quality and environmental standards for highway improvement work. Experience of managing and supervising staff, workforce and subcontractors.
